Through training in ethics and anticorruption, Bridgestone Costa Rica contributes to the achievement of the SDG 16, Target 16.5: Substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all their forms.
In addition to compliance with the culture of ethics, Bridgestone Costa Rica works to prevent corruption and conflicts of interest at all levels. In 2017, 75% of the team received extensive training on how to make better decisions when faced with this type of situation.
Because of the training efforts and the culture of ethics that the company strives to maintain, there were no confirmed cases of corruption or any fines for non-compliance with national or international legislation or regulations in 2017.
